エル・カスティージョ El Castillo
チチエン・イッツアのピラミッドです。この日は年に２回（春分、秋分）天から神様（ククルカン）が降りてくる日です。
ピラミッドの左側に作られたヘビの胴体にピラミッド自身の影が当たってでこぼこの影を作っているのが見えますが、これが太陽が落ちるにつれて動きます。
胴体の一番下には蛇の頭が作ってあります。
ピラミッドのまわりの大勢の人たちはすべて国際会議のために世界中から集まったアクチュアリーとその同伴者で、シャツの色でツアーコースを分けています。
